  We rented stuff twice (Salkantay and Ausangate trek) and everything was fine. The owner was the only honest Person we met when it came to rentals like sleepingbags or anything you need for Multi day hikes. He also gave us perfect advices for buying a tent. We checked and saw everything and had a nice Chat. We enjoyed this after 20 sad experiences in agencies... in the agancies they don't let you even check the sleepingbags befor paying.

  Did not have the greatest experience with this company. Rented a coat, gloves and hiking poles before starting the salkantay trek. They gave me two left handed gloves, when I returned them and pointed this out to them, he simply said, oh that's a shame, but can't give you a refund as you had still borrowed them. The cost of renting the gloves is not a huge issue, it's the pore customer service that irritates me. Also, during the trek a few people mentioned they heard not so good news about this company. Mainly, they will find reasons to not give you your deposit back! There are many reputable companies to rent hiking gear from in Cusco.... my advise would be to go elsewhere.

  Before a multi-day backpacking trip, we stopped here to get a price quote for renting the remaining gear we didn't want to fly with -- it turned out to be the best price of several shops we checked. It's worth noting that their rental price was fixed for 1-7 day rentals whereas most other shops charged per day: good to keep in mind for potentially longer trips or just for flexibility when returning. In addition, the staff is super knowledgable about trekking in general and we spent a while talking to the owner about other hikes in Peru.
