::At Localiza they will do everything possible to ensure you never rent with them again. Every single moment of the experience is a catastrophe. They somehow manage to get you angry and ruin your day. When picking up the car they said the pre-authorization on the credit card was to be USD 11.0000!!!! Even though i have quite a good card that would take that amount, I still would have had to call the bank to pre-authorize it myself because such amounts would not pass automaticall. I couldnt contact the card because I didnt have a phone and they wouldnt lend me theirs. Since tha auth wouldnt go through, they sold us a ridiculously expensive CDW and tripled the price of the rental we had agreed. Since I was already there and there seems to be no other option you are forced into hiring this unwanted service. On top of this, the lady at the counter couldnt be any more rude. Clearly she knows about this con and is ready to pull it out no matter what. She will talk to you rising her voice and threatening if you dont hire the CDW you will end paying a lot of money. I will never again rent with localiza anywhere in the world. If you are reading this post, do follow my advice.

::Very bad service, weeks after we returned home they stole money from our credit card account. After several emails from us they sent a message after 3 months that it was because of a fine for speeding, but the evidence showed the speed offense took place in a month we were not in Peru and we certainly did not rent the car during the offense, as anybody could see from the contract. Yet, after 4 months, we still wait for them to return our money.

::Poor customer service. They don't have counter at the airport and they will charge you for delivery the car to the airport. Also, expect to pay the parking tickets at the airport, because they will not pay it. Really bad experience. In vest a little more in a better company and you will save the bitter moments that I had with this company
